Summary
A list of group addresses for Elvis configuration can be exported from ETS2 configuration. This requires a DLL and an entry in the ets20 .ini.
Details
The ETS2 has a simple method to insert function extensions. The new functions must be stored in a DLL in the ETS2 directory and the DLL must be made known to the ETS2 module by an entry in the ETS2 initialization file.
During the installation of the Elvis configuration, the ETS2 is searched for and, if successful, the DLL is installed and the necessary initializations are carried out. Perhaps the installation fails or the export is to be done from another ETS2 installation, then proceed as follows: For the “Export to Elvis”, the elvisets .dll is stored in the ETS2 directory. In ets20.ini the following entry must be made:
[m3.ModuleExtension] ELVISETS.DLL=1
To edit the ets20.ini use a simple editor that does not change formatting, e.g. NotePad.
Legal note: The elvisets .dll may only be used in conjunction with an Elvis configuration license. Please note the copyright of this function.
