Symptoms
When scanning the topology or devices, an “OutOfMemoryException” error message appears.
Cause
This is a problem of ETS4 versions up to and including 4.1.2. It occurs if the bus connection has not been opened before in the current ETS session.
Solution
To avoid the problem, open a group monitor in ETS before scanning and start it briefly. You can then close the group monitor right away.
