Summary
A script that implements the M-Bus protocol is now also available for the custom port. This provides access to measurement data, in particular energy and consumption meters for Elvis. Information about the M-Bus can be found on www.m-bus.com.
Details
The implementation was carried out according to the official M-Bus documentation (PDF) by Prof. Dr. Ziegler. It can be assumed that this script can be used for all M-Bus meters. Since no tests have been carried out for this purpose, no binding statements can be made in this regard. The script is successfully used in a system with a meter from invensys (PolluTherm/PolluCom E). For the solution of the task set here, the interpretation of LongFrame telegrams is sufficient. If you also want to interpret ShortFrame telegrams in your system, please contact IT GmbH.
