Summary
This macro is used to import large amounts of data points from a CSV file.
Details
For large amounts of data, Elvis’ built-in CSV import may be too slow.
The macro reads the data point properties “Data Point Address”, “Data Point Name”, and “Data Point Type” from a file and creates the data points in the database of the open project. The first row of the file is ignored, the other rows must contain the specified properties in the first three columns. The semicolon is to be used as a separator.
The data point group and the data point connection are specified via input fields.
