Symptoms
When trying to install iocomp for Elvis version 2.5, the error message “Elvis Developer not installed / Elvis configuration not installed” appears
Cause
The reason is an incorrect request from the setup program for installed Elvis versions. Elvis 2.4 and earlier are found, but not Elvis 2.5.
This problem only occurs with “iocomp for Elvis” CDs produced in June 2006.
Solution
Contact vertrieb@it-gmbh.de for a corrected CD.
As an interim solution, you can also run the setup like this:
- Click Start > Run
- Enter:
<>tt D:\Elvis25\proj\setup_iocomp.exe ELVISDIR=”C:\Program Files\Elvis 2.5″</tt>
and confirm with OK (if necessary, replace D: with the drive letter of the CD drive and “C:\Program Files\Elvis 2.5” with the Elvis installation path).
