Problem

The SMTP message port of Elvis 2 can only send e-mail in unencrypted SMTP and therefore does not work with the mail servers available on the Internet.

Solution

On the computer on which the Elvis server is running, an additional software “SMTP Relay” can be installed, which receives unencrypted SMTP requests from Elvis and forwards them to a configurable mail server.
