The dispatch cannot be done directly, but only via a so-called SMTP relay server.
For this purpose, an additional software “SMTP Relay” is installed on the computer where the Elvis2 server is running, which receives unencrypted SMTP requests from Elvis and forwards them to a configurable mail server. For this purpose, only “localhost” has to be entered in the “Server” property of the mail message port (see information at the end of the documentation).
