KNX USB interface for galvanically isolated access to the bus line via the built-in USB socket (type B), for commissioning and for addressing, parameterization, visualization, logging and diagnosis of the bus devices.
– Available at a preferential price, but only in combination with an Elvis project planning/runtime license and/or Elvis Server Boxes! –
The connection between KNX/EIB and PC works with ETS, EITT and any software based on Falcon. Thus it provides valuable services for development, diagnostics, commissioning and visualization.
For communication between the KNX USB interface and the connected device the newer and more flexible communication protocol “common EMI” is used.
A direct advantage is the support of long telegrams with up to 46 bytes length. Another advantage is the simplest programming connection on operating systems where Falcon is not available.
The connection to the USB is made on the front side like the connection to the KNX bus. A bus connection terminal is supplied.
Data transmission and bus status are indicated by 2 yellow LEDs.
